About the role

  • Own the end-to-end demand generation strategy for our institutional business (academic medicine, hospitals, health systems).
  • Build a repeatable, measurable funnel that drives qualified pipeline for our enterprise sales team.
  • Partner with PMM, Sales and Product Marketing to align campaigns to key personas (deans, program directors, and clinical educators).
  • Design and measure programs that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption across the buying committee.
  • Define, track, and report on funnel KPIs (MQLs, SQLs, opportunities, CAC, ROI).
  • Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team (and agency partners).
  • Drive multi-channel campaigns including: Email nurture and outbound programs, Thought leadership and content syndication (whitepapers, case studies, webinars), Targeted LinkedIn and digital campaigns, Industry events and conferences (AMEE, IAMSE, AAMC, etc.), Partner and association marketing.
  • Experiment with creative digital channels to reach medical professionals and educators where they already learn and engage.
  • Manage marketing automation and CRM workflows (HubSpot).
  • Measure and optimize funnel performance — from first touch to closed deal.
  • Develop clear dashboards that show campaign ROI, CAC, and marketing-sourced pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Data teams to map the full customer journey and identify conversion bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B demand generation, ideally in healthtech, medtech, edtech, or SaaS targeting institutional buyers with 3+ years of experience as a people manager
  • Proven success building pipeline through integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experience marketing to highly targeted verticals through both digital and analog efforts
  • Deep understanding of long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes.
  • Strong technical fluency with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate complex clinical or educational value propositions into clear, actionable campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment; ability to thrive and build effective relationships in a remote working environment
  • Embody the Agile philosophy, always iterating and improving on the process and not just adhering to the ceremony
  • Willingness to not only lead, but “do”
  • Travel required up to 35% of the time for conferences
