About the role
- Lead the design, integration, and delivery of Sizewell C’s operational organisational capability, meeting operational requirements for project milestones, from commissioning to commercial operation.
- Shape how we build the people, processes, systems, governance and culture that underpin a world-class nuclear operation.
- Act as a central point of coordination for the function, facilitating effective communication and leading on functional and business management for the team.
- Champion knowledge sharing, set functional standards for performance improvement and continuous learning, ensuring effective implementation across the Pre-Operations programmes.
- Work closely with programme leads and stakeholders to uphold governance standards, manage risks proactively, and maximize collaboration opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in programme or project management, ideally within large-scale infrastructure, energy, or defence sectors.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of operational readiness and operational organisational design.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and maintain focus on strategic goals.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with growing and leading cross-functional teams and managing complex schedules and dependencies.
- Skilled at creating a collaborative environment for diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to support teams through change and maintain focus on goals.
- Skilled in influencing and gaining buy-in for new approaches.
- Skilled in coaching and mentoring to build capability.
