About the role

  • Collaborate with product and engineers to create engaging, effective, and user-centric interfaces for our threat intelligence product.
  • Your designs will help our users gain visibility into their full network infrastructure, identify critical threats and vulnerabilities, and provide actionable insights into mitigating those risks.
  • Work part-time, committing to 20 - 25 hours per week.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on creating designs for security tools, threat intelligence platforms, or other data-heavy applications.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your work in designing user interfaces for complex data-driven products, including dashboards, visualizations, and security-focused tools.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience designing data visualizations, with a focus on presenting complex, technical data in an understandable and actionable way.
  • Knowledge of threat intelligence workflows, cybersecurity terminology, and common security tools (e.g., SIEMs, SOARs) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience designing for security operations centers (SOCs) or working directly with cybersecurity professionals.
  • Experience with design tools such Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Understanding of security frameworks, threat modeling, and attack vectors.
  • Knowledge of design systems and creating reusable components for consistency and scalability.
