About the role
- Ownership of regular payroll activities for US and Canadian employees
- Benefits Administration & Employee Expense Reimbursement
- Provide excellent customer service answering any employee related questions and requests
- Maintain accurate records payroll & benefits and follow up with discrepancies
- Reconcile all payroll filings and prepare accurate journal entries
- Manage Ceridian Dayforce related activities, making changes and updates as required
- Prepare year end T-4’s for distribution to employees and Receiver General
- Actively participate in various benefits, systems, and payroll related projects
- Journal Entries and Payroll Related Accruals
- Payroll Reporting
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience working in a similar capacity
- You have excellent computer skills including MS Office
- You have experience with both Canadian and US payroll
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- You are uber organized and have a keen eye for detail
- You are a quicker learner with a process-driven mind
- You demonstrate professionalism, great customer service, and confidentiality when dealing with various stakeholders
- You are deadline-oriented and can manage tasks without cracking under pressure
