About the role

  • Ownership of regular payroll activities for US and Canadian employees
  • Benefits Administration & Employee Expense Reimbursement
  • Provide excellent customer service answering any employee related questions and requests
  • Maintain accurate records payroll & benefits and follow up with discrepancies
  • Reconcile all payroll filings and prepare accurate journal entries
  • Manage Ceridian Dayforce related activities, making changes and updates as required
  • Prepare year end T-4’s for distribution to employees and Receiver General
  • Actively participate in various benefits, systems, and payroll related projects
  • Journal Entries and Payroll Related Accruals
  • Payroll Reporting

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a similar capacity
  • You have excellent computer skills including MS Office
  • You have experience with both Canadian and US payroll
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You are uber organized and have a keen eye for detail
  • You are a quicker learner with a process-driven mind
  • You demonstrate professionalism, great customer service, and confidentiality when dealing with various stakeholders
  • You are deadline-oriented and can manage tasks without cracking under pressure
