About the role

  • Perform accounting reconciliations and journal entries for Sicredi Bank, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • Calculate and validate monthly accounting balances of products transferred to credit unions via pricing, leading meetings with business areas to resolve discrepancies;
  • Support accounting close processes between the 1st and 5th business day at Sicredi Bank;
  • Generate accounting data to support decision-making for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, using data analysis to improve operational efficiency;
  • Assist with audits (internal and external);
  • Take ownership and demonstrate genuine engagement—acting as a business owner—while maintaining strong relationships with partner areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation routines.
  • Proficiency in Excel at least at an intermediate level.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal areas for mapping accounting processes and routines.
  • Data-oriented profile with experience using corporate data generation and analysis tools.
  • Apply an agile mindset to promote a collaborative environment that encourages autonomy, transparency, innovation, and learning.
  • Organized, curious, proactive, and driven by challenges.
  • Experience in financial institutions authorized by the Central Bank.
  • Participation in projects related to the implementation of the Central Bank's New Chart of Accounts (Novo COSIF).
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (accounting ERP).
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Databricks).
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.
  • Financial market certifications (CPA-10, CPA-20, CEA, CFA, or others).
  • Knowledge of credit cooperativism (cooperative banking).
  • MBA/Master's/graduate degree preferably in controllership, accounting, financial markets, or corporate finance.
