About the role

  • Providing direction for UI/UX design teams
  • Plan and implement new designs
  • Optimize existing user interface designs
  • Test for intuition and experience
  • Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
  • Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
  • Create prototypes for new product ideas
  • Work closely with the development team to realize prototypes
  • Assist the graphic design team

Requirements

  • Completed or currently pursuing education in a design-related field (UX, UI, Graphic Design, Media Design, etc.). Note that a Google UX certificate or similar online certification does not apply to this requirement.
  • Consistent portfolio with at least 3 UX/UI-related projects (school, personal or real client).
  • Proven experience as a designer, UI Designer, UX Designer or a similar role.
  • High proficiency in Figma
  • Proficiency in Adobe XD and medium proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft VS Code, Adobe Dreamweaver, or similar code editor.
  • Basic understanding of GitHub is a plus.
  • Experience with setting up and editing HTML5 & CSS3 code.
  • Basic understanding of Java and/or jQuery is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of UX/UI workflows, including mood boarding, wire-framing, High/Low fidelity prototyping, etc.
  • Willingness to improve and learn about both (UX & UI) design skills and (HTML & CSS) coding.
  • Open attitude towards improving graphic design skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-building spirit.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
