About the role
- Enhance and maintain security solutions for digital workplaces (malware prevention/detection, encryption, endpoint hardening)
- Develop automation for recurring processes
- Own patch and vulnerability management: identify, evaluate and deploy OS/application patches and security updates
- Design and implement client hardening concepts and drive security policy development
- Contribute to IT security projects focused on infrastructure and applications
- Analyze system reports and provide insights into endpoint security status
- Collaborate with a dynamic security and IT team to implement solutions
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in endpoint security
- Expertise in operating systems (Windows, Mac) and their management solutions
- Strong expertise in security frameworks and safety mechanisms
- Hands-on experience with antivirus products (e.g., With-Secure, ESET, Sophos, Trend Micro)
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in client/endpoint administration and hardening
- Knowledge in Windows Server infrastructures, Linux, VMware is a plus
- Experience with endpoint management systems like SCCM/MECM, Intune or Baramundi (ideally)
- Fluency in English (C1); German (C1) a strong bonus
