About the role

  • Provide support to approved strategic and operational plans for Gospel Outreach (GO) Trips and Global Church Program (GCP)
  • Accountable for successful completion of GO Trips and smooth administrative processes of Church Partnership program
  • Coordinate the Application and Selection processes for GO Trips
  • Monitor and update Forms, Waivers and selection processes as regulations change
  • Manage flight, insurance and travel accommodations
  • Liaise with in-country hosts and manage ongoing communication with trip participants
  • Reconcile donations and maintain accurate records
  • Work with various teams to ensure all participants are informed and planning is effective
  • Assist in creating and reviewing training materials for GO Trips
  • Support recruitment and training of GO Team participants
  • Manage church database and ensure data is accurate

Requirements

  • A vibrant faith, evident to all through a character which reflects Christ.
  • Possesses a deep appreciation for God’s Word and a passion to see the gospel be shared with the world
  • Able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
  • Exceptional command of English, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a collaborative, cross-departmental team
  • Thrive in supporting many projects at once, while ensuring excellence in all
  • 1-4 years experience or greater in administration and/or project management
  • A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and Apple products (Google Drive, MS Word and Excel)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with experience in managing and coordinating detail
  • Experience working a non-for-profit, charitable organization, or church
  • Experience with Blackbaud and Raisers Edge products
  • Completed post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of project and event coordination and administration
  • Experience working with/in churches and denominations
  • 2nd language preferable
