About the role
- Conduct on-site audits at farms to ensure compliance with quality programs related to animal welfare, hygiene, and milk quality
- Manage clear and consistent communication with the client as their local point of contact
- Plan and manage your own audit schedule
- Manage a team of auditors and facilitate coaching and training
- Travel regularly, with occasional overnight stays depending on your location.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in agriculture, particularly in dairy farming
- Solid understanding of animal welfare
- Post secondary education in agriculture or similar relevant subject
- Strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge in a respectful and engaging way
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken
- Driving license
- Good IT skills and comfort with digital tools
- Previous experience in a leadership/managerial position (Desirable)
- Previous experience in auditing or inspection roles (Desirable)
