Support government client in Falls Church, VA and San Antonio, TX
Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for reporting and dashboard solutions
Explore and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; perform statistical analysis and data mining
Validate data quality and accuracy to enable reliable reporting
Prepare concise and visually appealing reports summarizing key findings and insights and present analytical findings to stakeholders
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business processes and performance
Design and develop interactive dashboards using Qlik Sense or Tableau, including data models and transformations
Develop and maintain scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) and ensure dashboards are optimized for performance and scalability
Provide user support and training, develop documentation and training materials, and respond to user inquiries
Manage multiple documentation projects and collaborate with web/technical developers, tool owners, and subject matter experts
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
10 years of relevant experience
Extensive experience working with MHS Healthcare and financial data sets (MHS Genesis, GFEBS, Dentrix, DMHRSi, MDR, and other relevant data sets and systems)
Extensive knowledge of Advana and Qlik Sense or Tableau with at least 2 years of relevant dashboard development experience
Demonstrated capability to conduct all elements of dashboard creation including data and requirements gathering, scripting, and front-end design
Experience designing and developing interactive dashboards, creating data models and ETL scripting
Ability to explore and analyze large datasets, perform statistical analysis and data mining, and validate data quality
Experience preparing concise and visually appealing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including MS Teams) and SharePoint
Working knowledge of Federal and DoD regulations: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense FAR (DFAR), DoD Financial Management, Office of the Secretary of Defense Regulations, Defense Finance and Accounting Services Regulations and Manuals
Basic to advanced understanding of military health resource management concepts and terminology
Detailed understanding of MHS and programs supported by DHP appropriations
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet client-established timelines
Strong organizational, time management, collaboration, adaptability, and interpersonal skills
