About the role
- Prepare and manage our technical requirements for quality reviews
- Prepare cases for internal review, and provide details to clients both internally and externally
- Undertake internal audits to include telephony and file reviews, highlighting trends
- Provide training and technical referrals for the team
- Responsible for the oversight and management of the claims reviews for high profile clients and cases
- Responsible for the quality management, output and reporting of the team for liability, disputed proceedings, litigation
- Able to provide advice on complex loss claims
- Involves a reduced caseload of desktop claims for a high profile client
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of current case law, common law/statutes, and regulations.
- Insurance qualifications are desirable, but relevant experience is equally valued.
- Strong team working and collaboration skills.
- Good understanding of insurance law and policy wording interpretation.
- Knowledge of contract, statute, and civil liability.
- Strong investigation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with corporate clients, small businesses, insurers, and brokers.
- Influencing skills to gain agreement on proposals and ideas.
- Effective listening and empathetic response skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Motivation to provide prompt, efficient, and personalized service to both external and internal customers.
