About the role

Build high-performing front- and back-end systems to support Securly's student wellness and safety platform
Develop intuitive, scalable systems across the entire software stack
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate front-end with microservice architectures
Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and manage relational and non-relational databases
Use CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows within Agile teams
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features
Take ownership of features and contribute to architecture decisions
Participate in code reviews and support high-scale SaaS product development

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with experience in frameworks like React or Angular
Experience in one or more back-end languages (e.g., Golang, Python, Java)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and RESTful API development
Comfort working with both relational and non-relational databases
Experience with CI/CD tools, Git-based workflows, and Agile environments
Bonus if you’ve worked on high-scale SaaS products or have experience integrating front-end with microservice architectures
Flexible engineer who enjoys working across the stack to solve user and business problems
Skilled at collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers
Eager to take ownership of features and contribute to architecture decisions
Comfortable in a remote-first, cross-functional team
Passionate about building tools that support the safety, wellness, and learning of students
