About the role

  • Design, develop and maintain data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
  • Develop complex SQL scripts and procedures for extracting and manipulating data in Data Virtuality
  • Implement data models and provide data governance to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency
  • Integrate external data sources and interfaces to load data into the data warehouse and make them usable
  • Create insights for the online shop tech team (babyartikel.de) by combining Google Analytics data with external sources (e.g., Facebook Conversion API, Amazon APIs) and internal data (e.g., ERP or PIM)
  • Expand the Amazon management dashboard
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights
  • Support the creation of dashboards for data visualization that present insights in a user-friendly and interactive way

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data warehousing, business intelligence and SQL programming
  • Experience extracting, aggregating and manipulating data on platforms such as Data Virtuality or Snowflake
  • Experience connecting external data sources and APIs, and with data visualization techniques and tools
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL scripts and procedures
  • Understanding of e-commerce processes is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Practical experience working in agile development environments is a plus
  • Good written and spoken German and English
