About the role
- Lead, plan and execute engaging projects within SCHÜTZ's global IT infrastructure
- Design, install, integrate, upgrade and migrate network, hardware and software components
- Client and server administration, primarily based on Microsoft, Linux, VMware and Citrix products
- Translate requirements into technically state-of-the-art solutions
- Varied, team-oriented work in a flat-hierarchy, international environment across administration, production and logistics
- Advise internal customers and manage external partners
- Ensure and optimize information security
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant additional qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of standard hardware and software
- Prior experience with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office and Linux is an advantage
- Experience in project work, organization, planning and documentation
- Ability to work independently and in a results-oriented manner
- Strong team and communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
