About the role
- Leading design and development of exterior cab components such as front panels, grilles, steps, and bumper systems using 3D CAD tools.
- Driving concept development, product maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with testing, production, purchasing, styling, and aftermarket teams.
- Coordinating with international suppliers to define technical requirements and ensure manufacturability.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical strategy within the group.
Requirements
- Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Has 5+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably within Scania or the TRATON Group.
- Is proficient in 3D CAD (preferably Catia V5) and understands product development processes.
- Has strong communication and leadership skills.
- Is passionate about innovation, sustainability and teamwork.
