About the role
- Providing service and customer support during field and in house visits
- Manage all on site installation, maintenance and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and identify effective solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and issue certificates of analysis for equipment
- Follow company procedures and policies as well as UKAS, ISO, GMP standards on customer sites
- Work closely with the technical team and share information across the organisation
Requirements
- Field service experience working in the pharmaceutical, biological or chemical industry following GMP or ISO standards or UKAS accredited laboratory in a similar role would be desirable though candidates from other industries will also be considered
- Ability to test, troubleshoot and service technical equipment
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- Ability to work flexibility and efficiently and to adapt quickly to changing work schedules
- Willingness to travel with some overnight stays, holding a full driving licence
- Strong customer service and communication skills
