About the role

  • Operational planning and management of application-related IT projects
  • Aligning the project team’s work to achieve targets efficiently
  • Preparing and conducting project team meetings, including documenting results
  • Managing the project budget and resources and developing solution proposals in conflict situations
  • Regular coordination with IT Project Portfolio / Program Management and project status reporting
  • Preparing and following up on steering committee meetings and conducting them in coordination with the project sponsor
  • Coordinating and carrying out all necessary project preparation activities, including collaboration with the responsible business units

Requirements

  • Completed degree with good results in Computer Science, Business Administration, or an IT vocational qualification with project experience
  • Knowledge of IT project management, ideally already in a project lead role
  • Experience in executing IT system implementation projects
  • Ability and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with key processes and their requirements
  • Knowledge of or certifications in traditional and/or (agile) project and program management methods (preferably PRINCE2 and SCRUM)
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and ideally experience using project management tools
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Goal orientation and strong execution skills
  • Enjoy working in a team and contributing to joint development
  • Reliability, flexibility, and effective self-management
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally if required
