About the role
- Prospect business within the customer portfolio served by Key Account Managers, Sales Agents (authorized representatives) or otherwise, involving the sale of equipment, Screening Media, Wear Protection and Wear Parts, Field Service and Overhauls for screening and crushing product lines.
- Conduct technical visits to customers in the construction and mining segments whenever business opportunities are identified, mapping needs and recording alternatives for subsequent feasibility studies of application, working together with Account Managers.
- Prepare technical-commercial proposals, allocating all necessary technical and material resources and their specifications compatible with customer requirements. Interact with Inside Sales, Engineering, Parts and Services to obtain prices and margins according to Sandvik standards for presentation to customers.
- Execute and/or participate with Key Account Managers and Sales Agents (authorized representatives) in technical-commercial presentations and negotiations, presenting scope and clarifying customer questions about applications, processes and solutions in general, redefining scenarios and participating in commercial negotiations until sale closure.
- For sales to entities not covered by our Key Account Managers or Sales Agents (authorized representatives), formalize the contract closing with Inside Sales, providing and forwarding spreadsheets containing the order, scope of equipment, Screening Media, Wear Protection and Wear Parts, Field Service and Overhauls, delivery deadlines, contractual and commercial terms, logistics processing, etc., for order processing and subsequent contract and deliverables management.
- Review the technical scope of supply and/or testing and its commercial aspects according to customer requirements, aiming to close the proposal aligned with identified needs.
- Ensure that commercial opportunities are opened in the appropriate system (CRM).
- Interact with area management when special commercial conditions are required, according to customer profile, added value, business risks, loyalty actions, etc., to support decision-making on whether to close orders/contracts.
- Act as the customer's focal point for after-sales actions, receiving and/or identifying demands related to wear parts, machine downtime, low performance, and treatment of critical points.
- Identify with management any updates and/or innovations in the product line, such as new applications, new features, customizations and other process improvements that ensure better performance and longer life of equipment, Screening Media, Wear Protection and Wear Parts, seeking training to deliver technical presentations to customers and prospect new business.
- Promote and deliver training to crushing and screening customers to showcase Sandvik solutions for Screening Media, Wear Protection and Wear Parts.
- Plan and conduct tests of Screening Media, Wear Protection and Wear Parts with Key Clients defined by management, from defining the items and application premises, actively participating in field applications and producing robust, detailed technical reports covering all technical aspects of the test.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mining.
- Experience with screening equipment.
- Intermediate MS Office skills and basic Power BI.
- Intermediate English and Spanish.
- Valid Category B driver’s license.
