About the role
- Lead and grow the business in line with agreed targets for sales, market share, customer and sales service, profitability and pricing.
- Execute global strategies locally translating our global initiatives into impactful regional actions and measurable results.
- Ensure operational excellence, maintaining compliance with local laws, company policies, and financial guidelines.
- Drive sales performance through modern sales tools, solution selling, and strategic customer engagement.
- Represent Sandvik Coromant in China – identifying synergies, cross-selling opportunities, and new business partnerships across divisions and business areas.
- Develop people and performance, fostering high performing teams in an inclusive and collaborative culture.
Requirements
- A university degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience leading a commercial business in a global organization, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, or technical product sales.
- A track record of driving change and achieving sales results in a global context.
- A strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes, with the ability to identify new opportunities.
- Financial fluency with ability to balance growth with profitability and cost control.
- Exceptional people leadership skills: You identify and develop talent, guide teams through transformation, and inspire trust and engagement.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
