About the role

  • Act as a business partner
  • Participate in the definition of the industrial strategy, budgeting, planning by providing insights on the financial implications and cost impact
  • Analyze, clearly explain, and follow up regarding actual results, forecasts and targets
  • Support profitability analysis
  • Act as driver for continuous improvement of processes, such as reporting and forecasting accuracy
  • Labor efficiency and stock performance KPI’s
  • Opex analysis
  • Capex management: investment/divestment
  • Prepare and validate business cases
  • Inventories management: cash flow analysis
  • Develop the financial acumen across the supply chain organization, advise and challenge the different stakeholders to develop their ownership on the financial area and maximize the overall efficiency of our Industrial operations
  • Interface with central finance and other controllers to improve the reliability and availability of financial reporting
  • Act as local administrative referent on site, providing support to local finance department.
  • Be the contact person on site for all customs-related topics and for declarations on products’ country of origin
  • Act as local onsite person of reference for Sandvik internal audit process
  • Participate to the digital finance transformation projects
  • Manage high-volume workload during peak periods, particularly from September to December.

Requirements

  • University degree in finance or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the controlling function, in particular with industrial controlling
  • Robust knowledge of controlling processes and business planning principles in a production site
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and relational competencies
  • Italian native language, fluency in verbal and written English is a requirement
