About the role
- Develop and own the annual and quarterly go-to-market strategy for Professional Services, including sales plays.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and refine existing sales strategies.
- Leverage sales data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with the Professional Services Offerings team in the Global Commercial Office to provide strategic support for new and existing offerings.
- Lead a portfolio of strategic programs and initiatives that enable the sales organization to effectively sell Professional Services.
- Partner with the Sales Excellence and Enablement function to execute and operationalize sales programs and enablement initiatives.
- Proactively recommend, design, and manage sales contests and incentive programs to drive desired sales behaviors and outcomes.
- Analyze contest performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Establish and manage program governance, success metrics, and reporting to ensure alignment and accountability across all stakeholders.
- Influence and align senior stakeholders globally across Sales, Operations, and Marketing to drive execution readiness.
- Present business insights, program progress, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership on a regular basis.
- Partner with Professional Services and Product leaders to align on priorities and outcomes.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in sales strategy, professional services, or a related go-to-market role within a SaaS or technology company.
- Proven experience as a senior individual contributor, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs with significant business impact.
- Deep expertise in sales strategy, program management, and business analysis.
- Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of Professional Services and the SaaS business model, including sales cycles, revenue models, and customer success motions.
- Experience with Salesforce's products and ecosystem is strongly preferred.
