About the role
- Develop and execute operational strategies that drive efficiency, cost savings, and superior store performance.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational consistency and effectiveness across locations.
- Lead initiatives to optimize staffing models, labor management, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure the delivery of a consistent and exceptional in-store experience.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction, aligning with Saks Off 5th’s brand values.
- Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate the success of operational and customer experience initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
- Provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and regularly assess team performance against KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years in store-level retail operations, with at least 2-3 years in multi-unit leadership or regional operations role.
- Proven track record of managing complex operations in a multi-location retail environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in retail systems, operational tools, and data analysis platforms.
