Analyst

• Report to the Analytical Manager of the sector team and collaborate with the Sector Lead and other Lead Analysts.
• Ensure timely and consistent application of our criteria and execution of surveillance.
• Establish and maintain relationships with issuers, intermediaries, and investors.
• Act as Primary Analyst on a moderately sized list of higher profile or complex credits.
• Provide analytical oversight across a broader portfolio of credits, ensuring a consistently high level of analytic quality.
• Chair credit committees; review, critique, and provide feedback on analysis and publishing.
• Provide analytical training and coaching to junior analysts.
• Create and leverage internal partnerships, especially with primary analysts across your sector.
• In coordination with the Analytical Manager and Sector Lead, communicate S&P thought leadership and credit themes via publications, speeches, conference presentations, and media interviews.
• Contribute to projects that build our analytic capabilities and the robustness of our analytic process.
• Collaborate across sectors, regions, and practices to ensure analytic consistency.
