About the role
- responsible for monitoring the firm’s audit practice
- executing such activities as the internal inspection program, CPAB inspection, CPA provincial inspections
- assisting in the creation and monitoring of policies, tools, guidance, and training
- preparing communications for senior executives related to regulatory inspection audit quality matters
- performing file reviews to ensure that file is compliant with Canadian Auditing Standards and RSM Audit methodology
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- CPA license in principal place of business (required)
- Working knowledge of CAS, IFRS and ASPE
- Working knowledge of PCAOB and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Robust performance history and demonstration of excellence
- Strong social and people skills and ability to adapt quickly to change
- 8+ years’ of post qualification experience (required)
