About the role
- Team leadership – Lead, coach, and develop country marketing managers in DE, AT, HU, and RO. Provide direction, set standards, and ensure local execution is aligned with group priorities.
- Market execution (CZ) – Play a hands-on role in the Czech market, while coordinating with support staff for execution.
- Campaign strategy & execution – Not just adapt campaigns, but also propose, design, and organize initiatives that meet business goals and reflect retail seasonality.
- Content ownership – Take full responsibility for all content in your markets. Every campaign adaptation, post, and translation must meet brand and business objectives.
- Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with central teams (e.g. Head of Social, Brand, Performance) to bring ideas and execute campaigns that directly support business priorities.
- Project management – Run campaigns like projects: structured planning, clear timelines, ownership of deliverables, and reporting of results.
- Scalable ideas – Identify and roll out initiatives that can be replicated across multiple markets, not just isolated campaigns.
- AI & innovation – Explore how AI can streamline work, improve content quality, and drive better marketing outcomes.
- Retail mindset – Understand customer behavior in retail and connect brand, category, and business priorities with creative execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in retail or e-commerce, with proven success in leading teams across multiple markets.
- Project management expertise – skilled in scoping, planning, and delivering campaigns end-to-end.
- Strong business orientation – you think in terms of growth, ROI, and retail seasonality, not just marketing outputs.
- Analytical mindset – comfortable working with data, extracting insights, and turning them into actionable marketing initiatives.
- Tech & AI curiosity – eager to use AI and modern marketing tools to make work smarter and more effective.
- Attention to detail – nothing goes live without your quality check.
- Hands-on execution ability – you’re not just a strategist; you can roll up your sleeves, especially in the Czech market.
- Collaboration & communication – fluent in English (German, Hungarian, Romanian, or Czech a plus). Able to align stakeholders across countries with clarity.
