About the role
- Curate and FAIRify data through cleaning, parsing, disambiguation, and deduplication of Roche's scientific content
- Manage and Scale Scientific Content platforms such as full-text MongoDB database with GraphQL API access
- Develop Vector Stores and collaborate with partners for AI-driven knowledge extraction
- Improve data quality and manage the vendor portfolio
- Support internal users to the Scientific Content platforms
- Harmonize terminology and link literature and scientific data
Requirements
- B.S. in Biomedical or related engineering field
- Over 3 years of experience in data engineering, management, integration, and FAIRification
- Proven expertise in database development and Python scripting
- Hands-on expertise in text analytics, mining, TDM, and LLMs
- Knowledge of biological pathways, networks, and OMICS data formats
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Solid grasp of scientific literature and text-based data
