About the role
- Own and scale the accounting function at RevenueCat.
- Partner closely with our Head of Finance to build a world-class function.
- Lead the month-end close, oversee financial reporting, manage audits, elevate controls and processes, and set the foundation for future ERP implementation.
- Develop a deep understanding of the accounting stack and month-end workflow.
- Build strong relationships with Finance, People, Ops, and GTM teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years at a Big 4 accounting firm working with technology or SaaS clients.
- Hold an active CPA and have deep experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Played a meaningful accounting role at a SaaS or enterprise software company, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Experience leading audits (bonus points for a company’s first audit) and can independently manage external audit relationships.
- Responsible for month-end close, consolidations, revenue recognition, and technical accounting at scale.
- Comfortable operating with limited oversight.
- Prior people management experience and enjoy mentoring and developing talent.
- US-based and knowledgeable about US accounting, payroll, and tax frameworks.
- Process-oriented, detail-obsessed, and love building structure that scales.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, and like tackling problems with unclear solutions.
