About the role
- Play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of our Payment Service Providers (PSPs), including monitoring payment flows, analyzing costs, and helping to scale new, innovative financial solutions for our platform business.
- Work with teams across the company to provide Finance Operations guidance in developing new products and services for evolving business needs and help scale processes as the company grows.
- Be the go to person for finance related questions on marketplace operations - you’ll support our sellers and internal teams (e.g., Customer Service, Product,...) with providing guidance on all finance operations related topics.
- Collaborate closely with our Reporting Team, using your analytical skills to translate payment transactions into accounting-ready data - ensuring accurate reconciliation and supporting a smooth monthly and annual closing process.
- Contribute to the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of new tools and systems that enhance our financial operations.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- You bring 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a fast-growing environment (e.g., startup, scale-up, or financial advisory).
- You have strong analytical skills and enjoy automating manual tasks (e.g., PowerQuery, Python), improving processes, and continuously learning.
- You are experienced in handling large data volumes and are familiar with BI tools like Looker or comparable analytics solutions.
- You have a high attention to detail and value accuracy and quality.
- You’re self-driven, outcome-oriented, and comfortable using AI to supercharge your work.
- You have strong project management skills and communicate effectively with stakeholders across departments.
- You bring a solution-oriented mindset and find ways to make things work.
- You care about sustainability and want your work to make a meaningful difference.
- Experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, or online marketplaces is a strong plus.
