About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and services while ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of our systems..
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, data scientists and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be reviewing code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks.
  • Set and define standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and help coach and mentor engineers on the team to further their professional development.
  • Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience in a scalable computing environment.
  • Ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.
  • A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments. You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and can easily navigate failure.
