About the role

Assist in managing and maintaining CI pipelines to ensure stable test infrastructure
Work on automating workflows using Golang, Bash, or other languages
Troubleshoot and resolve test environment issues to maintain continuous operations
Contribute to monitoring and observability efforts using tools like Prometheus and Grafana
Collaborate with component teams to review and refine automated test jobs
Support infrastructure needs and help coordinate resource allocation
Document and improve internal processes for KubeVirt CI best practices

Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Republic of Ireland during the full duration of the internship
Must be able to join full time from January till August 2026
Working knowledge of written and spoken English
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Containerization
Basic experience with CI tools (Jenkins, Prow, or similar)
Familiarity with scripting languages (Golang, Bash, or similar)
Understanding of cloud infrastructure and container technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman)
Interest in automation and observability
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
