Social Media Manager

• Develop original concepts, campaigns, and storytelling approaches tailored to different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and potential to expand social platforms to keep the brand innovating).
• Work closely with strategists, wider team, copywriters, and design team to shape the brand’s social presence.
• Lead the design, copy, and production of social-first content (static, video, motion, interactive formats).
• Ensure creative output matches brand tone, voice, and visual identity.
• Stay ahead of platform trends and apply them to campaigns.
• Partner with paid media teams, influencer co-ordinator, and brand manager.
• Brief and direct creatives, and inform brand managers of what content is needed for social campaigns.
• Liaise with external agencies, production houses or content creators when needed.
• Analyse engagement and content performance to refine creative strategies.
• Test new formats, methods, and platform features.

Controller

• **The role:**
• We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function at Rat & Boa, a growing, founder-led fashion brand with big ambitions.
• **The main elements of the role are:**
• - Take full ownership of the group finance function across the UK, Netherlands, and US entities, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial management and reporting.
• - Lead the production of consolidated monthly management accounts, budgets, and rolling forecasts, providing insightful analysis on performance, trends, and key variances.
• - Manage group cashflow and liquidity, ensuring optimal working capital management, FX risk oversight, and alignment of intercompany balances.
• - Oversee statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including VAT (UK and Netherlands), GST (US), payroll taxes, and corporate filings.
• - Coordinate the preparation of VAT, GST, and other indirect tax submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations.
• - Build and refine group reporting frameworks and dashboards to deliver clear, real-time visibility of performance by region, channel, and product line.
• - Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies, ensuring financial discipline, cost control, and scalability as the group grows.
• - Partner with department heads and founders to review performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support commercial decision-making across product, marketing, operations, and logistics.
• - Manage external relationships with accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners across all territories.
• - Lead on the preparation of annual statutory accounts and audits for all entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient coordination of year-end processes.
• - Support international expansion and structural planning, including new market entry, entity setup, and transfer pricing considerations.
• - Continuously improve systems and processes, leveraging technology to automate reporting, enhance data accuracy, and increase efficiency (particularly within Xero and integrated tools).
• - Oversee and mentor the Finance Assistant, ensuring high standards of accuracy in transactional finance, reconciliations, and supplier payments.
• - Provide proactive financial insight and recommendations to support business growth, profitability, and long-term strategic planning.
