About the role
- Estimating air emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources
- Preparing air quality permit applications and negotiating draft permit terms and conditions with applicable regulating entities
- Working as a team to contribute technical skills on complex projects, and contributing to proposal preparation, technical presentations and client meetings
- Conducting site visits to industrial facilities as may be required to understand operations, gather data/information, and inform the evaluations described above
- Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering with the ability to obtain or already have a Professional Engineer license
- 5+ years of experience including proposal writing, report writing, project management and client development skills
- Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage technically complex projects
