About the role
- Support the live broadcast at the positions of Playback, Graphics, Audio, and Camera
- Coordinate camera, graphics, and audio effects to achieve designated production goals
- Preset some camera shots in partnership with the Technical Director, Producer, and Show Host
- Act as a communication hub for the control room staff, coordinating with the Line Producer and backstage crew
- Technical Direct on QVC2, or other shows, learning the necessary skills of the Technical Director position hands-on if needed
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Broadcast Media, Communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required
- 3+ years experience in live broadcast television production experience is required
- Hands-on working knowledge of broadcasting equipment including audio boards, character generators, servers, digital video effects and camera robotics required
