About the role
- Drive enterprise-wide process excellence by owning the process architecture and governance framework.
- Build and lead a high-performing Process Excellence team (analysts, architects).
- Establish the Process Excellence Playbook and ensure adoption through training and change management.
- Define and own the enterprise process architecture and keep it current as the organization evolves.
- Establish and maintain the Process Backbone – the authoritative map of business and IT processes.
- Set modeling standards and ensure version control.
- Establish and run the Process Governance model, defining roles and decision rights.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within service workflows.
- Define the process KPI hierarchy and maintain dashboards to ensure data quality.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in Process Excellence/Process Architecture/Service Management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated ownership of an enterprise process framework/backbone and KPI regime in a complex IT/financial services context.
- Proven delivery of measurable improvements (cycle time, cost, quality, risk) at scale.
- Advanced understanding of business processes, preferably in financial institutions.
- Strong understanding and experience in SDLC process, with preferred experience in leading large IT development or testing teams.
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile setup preferred.
- Strong focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Expert knowledge of BPMN 2.0, Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), ITIL 4 (Managing Professional or equivalent preferred).
- Familiarity with COBIT/ISO (e.g., ISO 9001/20000/27001) and internal control frameworks (e.g., ICS/SOX) is a plus.
- Deep understanding of process modeling (Signavio/ARIS/Visio), process mining (Celonis/Minit/Power BI models), and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent).
- Strong data skills for KPI design and dashboarding (e.g., Power BI) and integrating process repositories with service catalogs and CMDBs.
