About the role

  • Lead and manage the China eCommerce agency, ensuring clear direction, strong performance, and alignment with Quad Lock’s brand, commercial goals, and product strategy.
  • Oversee daily operations across JD and Tmall, including store management, product listings, merchandising, content accuracy, promotions, and platform compliance.
  • Monitor reviews, feedback, service levels, and issue resolution in partnership with the agency and China-based contacts.
  • Collaborate with the agency to plan, execute, and optimise marketplace campaigns, including major events such as 618, Double 11, and platform-led promotions.
  • Manage KOL and KOC programs in partnership with the agency, ensuring influencer content and recommendations align with Quad Lock’s brand positioning and growth objectives.
  • Coordinate marketplace livestreaming initiatives, including scheduling, product selection, talking points, and performance analysis to maximise reach and conversion.
  • Oversee product assortment, pricing, and inventory planning for JD and Tmall to maintain strong availability and achieve commercial targets.
  • Track performance dashboards and marketplace metrics, providing insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Partner with Quad Lock’s marketing, product, and ops teams to ensure alignment on messaging, launches, promotions, and supply chain readiness for the China market.
  • Maintain strong cross-cultural communication to ensure smooth collaboration between Melbourne HQ and China-based partners.
  • Ensure brand integrity and consistency across all China marketplace touchpoints, including store design, content, influencer activities, and marketing assets.

Requirements

  • Experience in China eCommerce operations, ideally across JD and Tmall.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (mandatory).
  • Proven ability to manage eCommerce agencies and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of China’s digital ecosystem, key sales events, and marketplace mechanics.
  • Experience with KOL/KOC programs and livestreaming campaigns.
  • Strong customer experience focus with the ability to monitor and improve service levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketplace data and performance metrics.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and ability to work with China-based partners.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
