Security Engineer

• Operation and protection of an ICT system with strict network separation ("red-black" separation).
• Design, implementation, and monitoring of security-relevant network measures such as firewalls, VLANs, gateways, filtering mechanisms, and data diode–based transmission paths.
• Conduct security monitoring, log analysis, system hardening, and regular audits to ensure compliance.
• Manage user and access control concepts, including implementation of least-privilege and zero-trust principles.
• Operation and maintenance of local server environments (physical and virtual).
• Administration and monitoring of central services such as NAS systems (storage, backups, snapshots, quotas).
• Planning and execution of updates, patches, security assessments, and system optimizations.
• Automate recurring tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
