About the role
- Gain experience and working knowledge of ultrawideband sub-systems and related system simulation and algorithm development
- Learn about UWB radio and its utility to support two-way ranging and other real time location systems
- Design novel algorithms to support real-world use cases
- Identify trade-offs in system implementation, and deployment constraints either through simulation studies or hands-on hardware experiments
- Developing system simulations and baseband architectures
- Report and present at the end of the internship on the work performed
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Enrolled in an MS or PhD programme
- Completed coursework in wireless systems including analogue/RF, digital, communications theory and DSP
- Familiarity with either MATLAB or Python
- Experience in algorithm development preferred
- Good communicator with eagerness to learn
