About the role

  • You will be part of our five-person team and act as the primary contact for our major client DKB, providing friendly and competent support on all matters related to credit and debit cards.
  • This includes telephone and written consulting as well as answering and coordinating all inquiries within qards’ scope of services (e.g., prevention and complaints management, IT, complaints, regulatory affairs, etc.).
  • You analyze (new) client requirements and independently coordinate with the relevant internal departments.
  • You prepare proposals, decision papers and contract amendments in close cooperation with the specialist departments and the legal team.
  • You apply your organizational skills and strong communication abilities to facilitate client meetings and workshops and follow up on the results.
  • You contribute to the development and implementation of new processes, identify improvement potential in existing workflows and put these improvements into practice.
  • You contribute your subject-matter expertise to cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training and several years of professional experience in the payments or banking sector or in B2B customer support in similar industries
  • Strong customer and service orientation with a friendly, articulate and confident manner
  • Experience in process and quality management combined with solid technical understanding and strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • IT affinity and experience in project work
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills
