• Prepares engineering plans, designs, specifications, standards, cost estimates, evaluations, or studies
• Conducts research, manages engineering projects, and interacts with customers
• Performs data and records management and ensures compliance with codes and standards
• Supports emergency response operations as needed

Requirements

Two-year technical degree or equivalent technical certificate in design or pre-engineering
2-3 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of relevant experience
Level of knowledge of subject matter within assigned area of focus sufficient for completing most project work independently
Basic knowledge of related disciplines
Organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient with PC and design software, and other database applications
