About the role
- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation and sales outreach
- Be the first point of contact for potential clients, representing ProsperOps and its values
- Conduct targeted research to identify key prospects within the ICP and generate prospecting lists using tools like Surfe
- Book outbound meetings through cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn and other platforms; coordinate meetings or demos between potential clients and the sales team
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ProsperOps' products and cloud FinOps market to effectively communicate value
- Qualify leads based on criteria such as total cloud spend and potential needs for cost optimization
- Manage relationships with warm leads and deliver relevant marketing content to prospects
- Track and manage prospect interactions and follow-ups within HubSpot
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue operations teams to align strategies and optimize outreach
- Participate in regular training and development sessions and attend relevant conferences to spread the ProsperOps brand
- Provide feedback to marketing on lead generation quality and campaign effectiveness; contribute to refining sales pitches
- Use creative outreach methods such as video prospecting and LinkedIn voice notes; actively listen to tailor the sales approach
Requirements
- Prior sales development experience, particularly in technology or cloud-based services selling to technical engineering or FinOps Leaders
- Industry knowledge of cloud computing and financial management, or willingness to learn
- Foundational understanding of CRM tools (HubSpot)
- Proficiency in phone communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Robust work ethic and confidence to operate independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain robust relationships with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams
- Aptitude for multitasking and prioritizing workload to optimize efficiency and meet sales targets
