• Conducts medical and general interpreting for staff, patients and their families.
• Assesses and monitors patients' understanding of information conveyed.
• Records and monitors interpretation activities according to hospital and department standards.
• May be required to translate written documents.
• Perform a variety of interpretation and coordination services to assist non-English speaking patients, the deaf and hearing-impaired patients receiving care within the ProHealth Care system
