About the role
- Conduct in-person dealership visits within your local territory to foster relationships and generate leads.
- Sell vehicle transportation and logistics services tailored to dealership needs.
- Use your network and industry expertise to uncover new business opportunities.
- Identify and consult with dealership stakeholders to understand their transportation pain points and provide cost-effective, efficient solutions.
- Develop and execute a territory-based sales strategy aligned with revenue goals.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements to close deals and drive revenue.
- Collaborate with operations and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Monitor market trends, dealership challenges, and competitor activity in your territory.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience (selling into car dealerships preferred)
- A large, active network of dealership contacts in your state or region
- Demonstrated ability to sell transportation services and close high-value sales
- Strong in-person and remote communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Must be comfortable with territory-based fieldwork and independent scheduling
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a consultative approach to sales
