About the role
- Manage NPD projects from concept to commercialization as assigned.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to track development stages, update dashboards, and communicate project status.
- Distribute product information to marketing and sales teams to support collaborative development.
- Gather, organizing, and tracking vendor documentation required for qualification.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, communicating essential information to ensure timely launches.
- Research and advice on specific ingredients and/or claims.
- Review and summarize clinical studies for both internal and external products.
- Coordinate all testing required for current Pourri products and those in the NPD pipeline.
- Support documentation and applications for certifications relevant to Scentsible Brands (e.g., Leaping Bunny, Vegan, B-Corp).
- Maintain continuous awareness of new products, market trends, and relevant government regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Purchasing, Sourcing, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure product readiness.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to innovation strategy.
- Lead special projects assigned to support company growth and product expansion.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in product development within a CPG company.
- Experience in personal care, air care, or beauty categories strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SDS, GHS, and product labeling is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with external vendors and contract manufacturers.
