About the role

  • Drive territory performance by maximizing sales with financial advisor clients, consistently exceeding net and gross sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan aligned with long-term goals and a consultative sales approach.
  • Identify and cultivate new partnerships to expand PIMCO’s ETF business among wealth managers at broker-dealers, wirehouses, and RIAs.
  • Design and implement marketing and sales campaigns to deepen engagement with existing partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with GWM colleagues across sales to champion ETF-focused initiatives and navigate complex client relationships.
  • Maintain deep expertise in PIMCO’s products, platforms, investment themes, market strategies, and policies.
  • Represent PIMCO ETFs at industry conferences and client-facing events.
  • Adhere to all travel, expense reimbursement, and activity reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Uphold the highest standards of compliance with industry regulations, client firm policies, and PIMCO’s internal guidelines.
  • Provide timely feedback to PIMCO leadership on product demand, sales trends, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, CPA, or MBA designations are a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in ETF-related client-facing roles, business development, field sales, or similar functions.
  • Established relationships with key prospects and clients within the Southwestern U.S. region.
  • Proven success in territory management with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Deep understanding of the ETF ecosystem and its dynamics.
  • Solid background in financial services, with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging partners, presenting sales materials, and conveying technical product information.
  • Strong client engagement capabilities, with a history of building lasting relationships and achieving high client satisfaction.
  • Active Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
  • Clean U-4 record.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Experience working with broker-dealer home office ETF contacts is preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
