💰 $55,000 - $75,000 per year
About the role
- Install new or modified equipment at the customer’s facility and ensuring full functionality according to specifications
- Analyzing, reviewing and inspecting findings to determine the source of problems, and recommending repair, replacement, or other corrective actions
- Coordinating problem resolution with factory or Phillips inside service support to expedite repairs
- Providing on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Updating and completing current incomplete service reports to reflect accurately and completely the work performed
- Providing feedback to the factory to help update and make changes to the service procedure used in troubleshooting and completing repairs to the machine in the field
- Providing a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer
- Conducting training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrating skills to trainees, including both team members and customers
- 80% road travel requirement and equipment provided (van, tools, Haas certification)
Requirements
- Experience with maintenance on CNC machines
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel on the road up to 80% of the week with possible overnight stays between Monday - Friday
- A high mechanical aptitude with some electrical knowledge
- Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally
- Ability to keep track of expenses and manage paperwork relating to maintenance completed
