About the role
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements
- Set clear expectations, meeting commitments and arrival times to address and resolve customer needs
- Understand the customer's business and competitive environment; generate service revenue
- Actively participate as a member of the regional work team; improve team processes and identify training gaps
- Complete PMs, FCOs, installation and all related tasks (diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems)
- Approximately 70% travel across the specified geography required
- Perform all administrative duties within established Philips, State, and Federal regulatory requirements and timeframes
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment or 3+ years of experience in other electromechanical industries
- Diagnostic x-ray and/or cath lab/cardiovascular/image guided therapy equipment experience and multivendor training preferred
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and above listed experience
- Must be able to successfully perform physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Field Service position
- Work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment
- Flexibility to work in accordance with business needs (i.e., 2nd or 3rd shifts; weekends, on-call; mandatory extra hours dependent on workload)
- Safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials; wear all required personal protective equipment
