About the role
- Leads a high performing team of Oncology Key Account Directors (KADs) in a dynamic and evolving marketplace
- Manages and develops a high-functioning team of KADs
- Provides structured direction and coaching to KADs to ensure monitoring of key market trends
- Develops a collaborative partnership with cross-functional field-based leaders to ensure optimal coverage of and support for Key Accounts
- Ensures development/execution of focused and strategic account plans for all assigned accounts
- Works with customer marketers and brand marketers to develop/deploy new training and resources to support evolving KAD customer priorities/objectives
- Complies with all Corporate Policies and Procedures, while conducting all job-related activities with integrity and adherence to Pfizer’s high standards of business conduct
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred
- 12+ years of pharmaceutical experience with focus on customer-facing functions; 10+ years with MBA
- 5 years of Oncology experience
- Demonstrated ability to expertly engage senior executives at key accounts
- Demonstrated success in leading (formally or informally) diverse, field-based teams
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically with the ability to formulate, develop, write, communicate and monitor the execution of stakeholder business plans
- Field based position – candidates within region and/or proximal to region with experience and familiarity with Southeast regional oncology markets strongly preferred
