About the role

  • Prospect activity operators and find new leads as potential sales opportunities
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective partners and Account Executives
  • Collaborate with the team on account strategy, demand generation, activities, and results
  • Multitask, prioritize, and complete individual goals while working in a team environment
  • Build pipeline using proven sales methodologies
  • Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Peek products, territories, accounts, competitors, and industry trends
  • Identify partner needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions and present new perspectives to customers
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Demo and close inbound leads that fall below specific requirements for sales team engagements
  • Complete administrative responsibilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Learn complex concepts quickly and independently
  • Act as first contact for Peek’s business prospects in many cases

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Rep
  • Experience selling in the US markets is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Goal-oriented with outstanding negotiation and communication skills
  • Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts
  • Desire for a long-term career in sales
  • Critical thinking skills to understand roles, processes, and procedures at a higher level
  • Competitive, tenacious, and results-driven
  • Self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure and against aggressive goals and deadlines
