About the role
- Drive paid media campaigns on Amazon and Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) across multiple brands
- Perform daily campaign optimization: analyze performance, shift budgets, and optimize ads based on ROAS, TACOS, and contribution margin
- Build and maintain keyword strategies and ASIN targeting structures
- Design and run rigorous A/B tests across creatives, copy, bidding, and targeting settings
- Collaborate with Creative, Brand Managers, and Ops to align ad strategy with inventory, pricing, and product launches
- Own campaign dashboards and reporting flows; provide actionable insights to leadership weekly
- Manage ad tech and tooling (Amazon Ads Console, Google Ads, Perpetua, Pacvue, Helium10, bulk sheets, automation scripts, analytics)
- Drive brand-level P&L contribution and ad spend efficiency to hit margin targets
- Systematize processes: document playbooks, build SOPs, and mentor junior team members
- Audit and ramp campaigns, launch full-funnel strategies, and take full ownership of budget, execution, and results within 30-90 day success benchmarks
Requirements
- 3+ years managing Amazon and/or Google PPC at a performance marketing level
- Expertise in Amazon Ads Console and Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max)
- Strong data analysis and performance reporting skills
- Proven track record of optimizing campaigns to scale profitably
- Excellent understanding of keyword and ASIN targeting strategies
- Experience managing high-velocity ad spend ($50k+/mo) with tight margin controls
- Experience running A/B tests across creatives, copy, bidding, and targeting
- Experience with tools: Perpetua, Pacvue, Helium10, Data Studio, bulk sheets, automation scripts
- Experience building SOPs and mentoring junior team members
- Background in e-commerce or direct response marketing (preferred)
- Familiarity with TikTok Shops, Meta Ads, or other channels is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (optional but preferred)
- Prior experience in multi-brand or startup environments is highly valued
