About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain distributed applications for the Cortex TMS platform
  • Lead heavy API integration projects to connect carriers, shippers, and partners seamlessly
  • Apply advanced design patterns (especially in C#) to build scalable, maintainable systems
  • Drive code quality through rigorous reviews and best practices
  • Collaborate with product and logistics experts to translate trucking workflows into technical solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership to offshore or 3rd party development teams
  • Innovate with AI developer tools (Agentic AI, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance platform intelligence
  • Architect solutions leveraging AWS or Azure cloud services for performance and reliability

Requirements

  • Senior-level full-stack engineering expertise with proven track record
  • 10+ years of strong proficiency in C#, ASP.Net Core, SQL Server (yes, you will be tested as part of the interview process)
  • Front-end mastery with TypeScript, React, Angular
  • Deep experience in cloud development (AWS or Azure)
  • Expertise in distributed applications and scalable architecture
  • Heavy experience with API integration and interoperability
  • Familiarity with AI developer tool stacks and applied AI in enterprise software
  • Exceptional knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills for guiding diverse teams
  • Solid experience conducting and leading code reviews
